The Padel Club NZ — Padel Courts in Papamoa Beach, Tauranga

The Padel Club NZ — Padel Courts in Papamoa Beach, Tauranga

The Padel Club NZ is the Bay of Plenty's padel home — and it's one of the most complete padel venues in the country. Four outdoor courts in Papamoa Beach, a licensed café serving FOLK coffee and Mount Brewing Co. beers, a pro shop stocking HEAD, NOX, and BABOLAT gear, and a community that's already hosted a Tier 2 national tournament. This is padel as a full afternoon out, not just an hour on a court.

About The Padel Club NZ

The Padel Club NZ opened in Papamoa Beach with a clear vision: make padel the social sport of the Bay of Plenty. Located in Papamoa — the fast-growing beach suburb east of Tauranga — the venue is well-positioned to serve players from Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Te Puke, and the wider Bay.

The four outdoor courts are a standout feature. Most NZ venues have one or two courts; having four means courts are more consistently available, and the club can run social events, leagues, and tournaments without disrupting regular play. They've already hosted the Padel NZ Tour 2025 Tauranga leg and the Bay of Plenty Open 2026 (Waitangi Weekend, 6–8 February 2026) — a Tier 2 national event sanctioned by Padel NZ.

The café adds a dimension that most NZ padel venues don't have. FOLK coffee and Mount Brewing Co. beers make post-padel recovery significantly more enjoyable. The pro shop stocks serious brands — HEAD, NOX, and BABOLAT — alongside racket hire at a very accessible $4.

Coaching at The Padel Club NZ is available in several formats. Private 1-on-1 sessions are $80/hr; 2-person sessions are $40/hr each; 3–4 person group lessons are $35/hr each. If you're learning with friends, the group coaching option is excellent value.

The club also runs social nights and introductory sessions, making it genuinely accessible for beginners. Staffed hours (8am–10pm, seven days) means there's always someone around if you have questions.
