Pacific Padel Merton Road — Padel Courts in St Johns, Auckland
Pacific Padel Merton Road — Padel Courts in St Johns, Auckland
East Auckland finally has its own padel hub. Pacific Padel Merton Road opened in early 2026 at 69A Merton Road, St Johns — bringing four premium outdoor courts to the St Johns/Glen Innes area. It's the second Pacific Padel venue in Auckland, filling a gap for players in the eastern suburbs who previously had to travel to Albany or Glendowie. Free "Try Padel" sessions run on Sundays, making it one of the most accessible places in the city to give the sport a first go.

About Pacific Padel Merton Road
Pacific Padel Merton Road is the newest entry in the Pacific Padel network — and it arrives at exactly the right time for East Auckland. The venue brings four Padel Galis courts to St Johns, a suburb between the eastern bays and the Glen Innes/Panmure corridor. It's accessible from Remuera, St Heliers, Howick, Pakuranga, and Mount Wellington without having to go near the city centre.
Being part of the Pacific Padel family means this venue comes with the same DNA as Albany: quality courts, a social events calendar, racket rental, flexible memberships, and a community focus. The full facilities are still developing — it's a new site — but the courts themselves are premium Padel Galis standard.
The standout feature for newcomers is the free Try Padel sessions on Sundays. These are specifically designed for people who've never held a padel racket before — no equipment needed, no experience required, just show up. It's genuinely one of the easiest ways to get into the sport in Auckland.
