Indoor Padel NZ — Padel Courts in Browns Bay, Auckland

Auckland's most unique padel experience lives in Browns Bay, and it's purple. Indoor Padel NZ is a fully automated, 24/7 padel court — you book online, get your access code, show up at any hour, and play. It's the only padel venue in New Zealand where you can book a 2am session if you want one. The purple court is iconic, the Babolat racket hire is automated via smart lockers, and the whole operation runs without staff — which is either futuristic or slightly eerie, depending on your perspective. We think it's cool.

About Indoor Padel NZ — Browns Bay

Indoor Padel NZ is a different kind of padel venue. There's no reception desk, no waiting for someone to unlock the gate, no membership required. You book a slot on Playtomic, you get your door code, and you rock up — at 6am, at midnight, or anywhere in between. The court is fully automated, weatherproof, and right there when you want it.

The purple court itself is striking. Fully enclosed, indoor, with proper padel court glass walls and a distinctly vibrant colour scheme that makes it instantly recognisable. It's been described as the kind of court you'd expect to find in Madrid or Barcelona — and while that might be overselling it slightly, the quality is genuinely good.

Babolat rackets are available from smart lockers outside the court — automated hire, available 24/7, no staff interaction required. There are also vending machines stocking grips, balls, drinks, and snacks, so you can sort everything on arrival. Bathrooms and showers are available during staffed hours (weekdays 9am–9pm, weekends 9am–8pm). Parking: 5 dedicated car parks on site.

The court is located at 50 Anzac Road, Browns Bay — head down the driveway and it's to the left, next to Magic Loft. Worth knowing before your first visit so you don't end up circling the carpark looking confused.

More Indoor Padel NZ locations are planned nationwide — Browns Bay is the first, but it won't be the last.
